Digital Forensics Legal Disclaimer

By signing below, the Client certifies that they have the full legal right, ownership, or explicit lawful authority to authorize the digital forensic examination of the evidence items listed on this form.

The Client acknowledges that digital forensic imaging, extraction, and analysis are highly technical processes that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: permanent data loss, data corruption, operating system instability, and physical component failure.

The Client explicitly agrees that Rick Crouch & Associates and its technicians shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from these procedures.

Rick Crouch & Associates guarantees that industry-standard forensic practices will be followed to preserve data integrity, but makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the recovery of specific data or the ultimate admissibility of the forensic findings in court.

The total liability of Rick Crouch & Associates for any service provided shall be limited to the total fees paid by the Client for that specific assignment.
